2005 - 2007
These strips are realized by taking photos in succession, building after building, pasted one after the other, just like in reality. The result is a strip showing the front of the buildings and their crossroads, in a parallel and paratactic vision which would be impossible with an usual perception. I’m interested in a “sliding vision”, in which the architectural and urban scene work as a background for the road, the human scene, the microevents bound up to daily life. The close-up, that of people walking by, cars and everyday life, is obviously fragmented.
