Nctm e l'arte continues its programme of meetings with the protagonists of the contemporary art scene: the first appointment of 2025 will be with Paola Di Bello and will be held at ADVANT Nctm's London office, where a work is displayed from the series dedicated by the artist to Alberto Burri's Teatro Continuo, at the firm's initiative.
The artist will dialogue with Patrizia Di Bello, Professor of History and Theory of Photography at Birkbeck, University of London.
During the meeting, Paola Di Bello will explore some of the central themes of her work, starting from the relationship between the human being and the city; she will then discuss topics such as the photographic vision as a tool for reading urban contexts and their daily dynamics, and the process of observation as a method to escape from a univocal and predefined perception of the reality that surrounds us.
The occasion will be an opportunity to discover her artistic research and approach to photography. The talk will be conducted by Gabi Scardi.
