L’Isola-Che-Non-C’è

2007

Video dvd-pal, 3 min Zebra crossing, pink and blue paint on asphalt Stikers The project comes from an observation every mother knows: the city and its urban routes are studded with obstacles to the mere passage of a pushchair. The video shows the difficulty of urban routes from the point of view of a baby on a pushchair. The project is then to realize two pieces of public art: the first consists in painting the road surfacing with pink and baby-blue zebra crossing. The second to print some stickers to be distributed to those willing to take part to the initiative. An image and a slogan reporting the obstacle found on the way are impressed on the sticker, and they're to be used as a little act of civil punishment. Never-Never-Never Land is the title of the Peter Pan’ story and “Isola” is the name of the district in Milan.
